The markets seem to be “red hot” at the moment as the DOW Jones flirts with 22,000… Penny stocks are definitely seeing investment money trickle in also. Tuesday saw lots of “GREEN” for a bunch of stock in our little world. I’ll take a look at 7 of them that I have recently mentioned on the site or twitter <–FOLLOW US
- $STBV (Strategic Global Ventures) closed 0.09 +0.0724 (+468.18%) on volume of 11,368,063 shares. This is the 2nd recent press release from the company. The other day they mentioned the assets of property in Cabo. Today they release news they are accepting $50,000,000 worth of TROPTIONS (valued at $1.21/each) for a 1:1 ratio with their restricted stock. For investors that can do common math, it did not take much to figure out that they stock’s new value would be worth much much more than $0.0176/share. The word spread share price rocketed and peaked at 0.142 before profit taking and post on the message boards from the SEC advising caution in what they are calling ICO’s (read here) caused it to ease late in the trading session. The caution was NOT directed at STBV but was a general caution article. Is they party over? Many on the forums do not think so as one investor posted a public reply from the CEO stating that more news is to come, and bigger news, and how his is submitting the proper paperwork to EDGARS to comply with OTC Markets.
2. $FPVD (Force Protection Video Equipment Corp) closed 0.04 +0.0275 (+220.00%) on 3,582,158 shares. The company released NEWS this morning about a contract for 160 LE50 cameras and software from the Department of Homeland Security, always nice to get government agreements! The Company is now in the business of selling mini body cameras. The Company’s president, Paul Feldman has extensive background and ties with law enforcement, and as such, the Company now focuses its business on the sale of mini body cameras to law enforcement agencies. It does so through direct contact with these agencies to take advantage of Mr. Feldman’s 30 years of marketing experience to law enforcement. In addition, the Company has established a web site at www.forceprovideo.com whereby customers can view the Company’s products and place orders. We believe that given recent current events which have taken place between law enforcement agencies and the public, which has been widely reported by the media, there is a significant market for the Company’s products. In late March 2015, the Company placed an order with a manufacturer in China for 1,000 action cameras, some of which were delivered in the first quarter of fiscal 2016 and have already been sold to multiple police agencies.
3. $OXIS (OXIS International) closed at 0.02796 +0.00596 (+27.09%) on volume of 11,452,276 shares. OXIS released a follow up press release yesterday that finally was absorbed today (delayed effect) in regards to the merger with Georgetown which will happen in September. Earlier this month we alerted our readers (@0.017) that the new CEO to be in the company, co-founded a company that was acquired for potentially $1 billon. In the article we talk about trusting in management and how a CEO that was that successful is now heading a company with a value of only around $4 million. Even if the new CEO can get the company to 1/100th of of her old one… that is a 250% gain with a valuation of $10 million. The potential is very good here long term, as you assume the new CEO must have skills, connections and know how to bring the company to another level in the bio-tech pharma sector.
4. $OMVS (On The Move) closed 0.194 +0.0041 (+2.16%) on 1,789,556 shares. Investors wait patiently for upcoming news. The anticipation is high but the volume has slowed down a tad and some are even satisfied with it’s ability to hold Friday’s gains and some. Chart analyzers have brought up the beloved “Golden Gross” pattern (when moving averages cross positively) but the lack of “new blood” coming into the stock is doing just that… leaving it simply poised to break out. Although readers may not like my opinion, I feel investors are 99% sure the merger is happening and the share price already reflects the merger. With that said, contracts and revenues are what is going to fuel the breakout – the bigger the better. The good news is, RAD CEO has hinted recently in his tweets that good things and news are coming. As I stated in an earlier report, the addition of social media as a means to communicate with investors is now just as impactful as a press release.
5. $OTTV (Viva Entertainment Group) closed 0.0058 +0.0012 (+26.09%) on volume of 452,509,502 shares. The good news is since the mention of note holders not converting for 60 days, the company has steadily risen over 100%. This is not the only reason, as the press is coming out mentioning all the streaming services now offering and compatible with the VivaLive app. The momentum is there, the sector is hot, and can $OTTV break last month’s .009 high… we will see. The boards are very active with over 1400 posts today as of 6PM EST.
6. $CCLX (CableClix) closed 0.0262 +0.0052 (+24.76%) on volume of 1,132,258 shares. Like OTTV, CableClix is positioned in the hot sector that is attempting to change the way consumer view cable or “stream” by cutting the cord! Even though CCLX is priced higher than OTTV, there are a lot less shares outstanding, a much smaller float, and relatively unknown still, making it one to watch.
7. $MLFB (Major League Football Inc) closed at 0.24 +0.079 (+49.07%) on volume of 111,207 shares. Although on paper it seems like a great day, it simply regained Monday’s losses and closed closer to the offer price of (.18/.25). I currently am playing tag with the new CEO in hopes of doing an interview with him and finding more about his direction and vision for the company with the tag-line of “the only publicly traded sports league”. Last week we reached out to old PR firm only to not get a reply. I am assuming they may no longer be under contract with the company.
